How to use dubly.me

Get dubly.me running in under 2 minutes.

Install dubly.me from the Chrome Web Store

Open the Chrome Web Store in your browser and search for 'dubly.me'. Click the extension, then click 'Add to Chrome'. In the confirmation dialog, click 'Add extension'.

Open the extensions panel

After installation, find the puzzle piece icon in the top-right corner of Chrome. Click it — a dropdown appears listing all your installed extensions.

Pin dubly.me to your toolbar

Find 'dubly.me' in the list. Click the grey pin icon next to it. The pin turns blue — this means the dubly.me icon will always stay visible in your toolbar.

The dubly.me icon is now pinned in your Chrome toolbar. Click it to open the extension popup.

Register and choose settings

Enter your email address to create a free account. Choose the target language (e.g. Spanish, German, French) and a voice style. Click 'Save settings' when ready.

Press play

Go to YouTube and open any video. The dubly.me control bar appears below the video. Click the dubly.me logo button — dubbed audio starts within a few seconds.

Stop dubbing

To stop dubbing, press the blue stop button. The original audio resumes. You can press the play button again at any time.
